Introduction The purpose of ERTAC is to coordinate emissions inventories needed for air quality modeling, and provide a technical- (not policy-) driven process for developing and improving emissions inventories. These inventories will focus on the Eastern US for 2008. The ERTAC groups agreed that the most urgent needs, given limited resources, were to focus on five prioity projects. This site addresses one of those priority projects the locomotive and rail emission inventory. |
